Art Class

Still Life

Xmas Pot Plant


First Art class of the year, and it was good to meet up with friends. We had to choose from a variety of still life compositions and draw them with dry materials.  This is done in pencil and then coloured with pastels.  As usual, I don't know when to stop and I defined some of the edges, rather too harshly, with pen and ink when I got home.

      Thankyou Linda. Sorry for the late reply but I have been visiting my daughter, son-in-law and grandson number three, only 2 months old. Lots of Nanny hugs over the weekend. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting but life gets in the way. Now that I have retired early from teaching I have more free time and I attend an Adult Education Art class once a week. Some of my efforts are better than others. x
